Abraham: But what’s wrong with the chocolate chip cookies anyway?

Abraham: But what causes you to call them “too many of them?”

You say, “I want to be slender, but I believe the cookie is the opposite of
that.” So I want this but I am doing that, so how does it really feel when
I’m eating the cookie?

Now stay with this, you’re really gonna like it.

So if I am reaching for the relief of aligning with my physical intention,
then it would feel better for me to let the cookie go as long as I believe
the cookie is in opposition to where I want to go. But often that is not
the subject on the table. The subject on the table is “I’m frustrated out
of my mind about this and this and THIS! Oh, that cookie looks like relief!
I’m frightened about this. This cookie looks like relief.”

As you begin to reach for relief, there is nothing wrong with reaching for
the comfort in food. There’s nothing wrong with that, but just don’t let
that be the only comfort you are reaching for. Reach for the comfort in

Now imagine this really sophisticated chemical factory that has the ability
to extract from everything that you give it necessary components. Your
body’s ability to digest breaks everything down into usable stuff. And the
cells of your body then attract to themselves the parts of that usable stuff
that they most need. Very raw description, but really an accurate
description, too. So your chemical factory has the ability to effectively
utilize what you are eating unless you are angry about it or frightened
about it or guilty about it. If you don’t make peace with the way you are
eating, you make it harder for your chemical factory to utilize it. When
you love what you are eating…

That’s the biggest thing that has gone wrong with diet in your culture
today. You used to eat and like your food, and now you’ve made all food your

It’s a really rare one of you who can eat anything and not find something in
it that makes you believe you should not eat it. So it is really odd to
find a human eating and taking pleasure from the food. Instead, you’ve got
this love/hate relationship with food. You want it because the cells of
your body are asking for it. You were born with this guidance that lets you
know it is time to refuel. You have this cellular calling for the food,
then you give it the food and before you have even swallowed it, you’ve set
up a vibrational wall of resistance that makes it more difficult for your
body to utilize the food.

That’s why different people can eat the identical food and get different
results from it. If it were as you think it is, by now or long ago, you
should have been able to get a formula that works for everyone – This food
means THIS and this food means THIS. This combination of food means this.
You are leaving out the only factor that matters. And it’s the
resistance/allowing factor.

It isn’t WHAT you eat, it’s how you feel when you eat it.
It isn’t WHAT you say, it’s how you feel when you say it.
It isn’t WHAT you do, it’s how you feel when you do it.
It’s ONLY how you feel.

Your body shifts faster than your thoughts

You could stand here sick with ten illnesses today, and tomorrow have no evidence of any of them. Your body has the ability to replenish itself that fast. But most of you do not have the ability to change your thoughts that fast. So the amount of time that it takes between sickness and wellness is only the amount of time that it takes for me to figure out how to let it in — for me to figure out how to feel good, when I’m looking at something that makes me feel bad

Your cells know what to do

As we behold your body you are much more an electrical circuit board than anything else. You are flesh, blood and bone that is clear to YOUR eyes but you are like an electrical circuit board more. As we visit with you here it sounds to most of you that we are wanting to assist you in using your brain to focus more precisely, and that is true but your brain is not the only thinking mechanism in your body. Every cell has a brain, millions of them. The cells of your body have been pre-programmed, pre-paved, pre-intended to maintain the continuity of your body.

The cells of your body as individuals, actually know their function within your body much better than most of you know your function within your physical arena. All cells do not do the same thing, each cell knows exactly what its purpose and function is. The cells vibrationally communicate, they electronically, electrically communicate with each other and with their Non Physical source. So the cells vibrationally ask for what they are needing to maintain the continuity of your body, and the Non Physical answers them. While this is taking place–which is every waking or sleeping moment of your day or night–as you are thinking thoughts, if your thought is one of appreciation, then in its vibrational harmony with the Source of the energy that comes to your body, as the cells are asking and the non-physical is answering, there is no resistance. There is perfect harmony so the communication process is complete.

But if while the cells are asking and non-physical is answering, if you are frustrated or worried or focused upon lack–and it’s easy to do especially when your body is hurting or when it is not functioning as you are accustomed to it functioning–then what happens is, you vibrationally without meaning to offer a resistance and that resistance slows down the ability of the cells and the non-physical to inter-relate. And that is what slows the process of healing, it is also what causes pain.

What happens when the cells of your body recognize that they are out of alignment, they have one mission only and that is to get back into alignment. So every cell in the affected area of your body goes to work overtime. As those cells are generating more asking, the non-physical energy is offering more answering so there is often an intensity around that area of your body. Well if you are not relaxing into it, and allowing it then the more they do that, the more you tense against it, and the more you tense against it, the more they try to do it. You see what we are getting at?

So the best thing for you to do, is first of all acknowledge that the cells know what they are doing. Acknowledge that the pure energy is being offered and your work is to find the feeling place. In other words, your work is to relax into an attitude of well-being. Now–you have great advantage. As we were listening to you in your offering, we can hear clearly how easy it is for you to bask in the good health that you lived. It is also easy for you to feel unhappy that that good health is not there.

See yourself standing before a picture window, it is a magnificent display. There is something there that you want very very much. You cannot afford it today but you really really want it. You are yearning for it. Now see yourself looking into the same display window it is magnificent, you really really want it but you cannot afford it today. But instead of yearning for it which is full of lack, you are just purely appreciating the splendor of it. Can you feel the difference in those two vibrations?

So what you are wanting to do, is to spend more of your time basking in the memory of a perfectly functioning body. Not tensing against the body that’s not working quite so well but spend more time remembering, more time regurgitating more time finding that place of Pure Positive Energy, and your body will realign itself. It is certain.

Transcript on Food

Guest: I’d like to just briefly tell you my diet–

Abraham: We are not interested


Guest: Because?

Abraham: Because what we think about your diet is irrelevant.

Guest: What I’d like to know is if you’d offer any suggestions to modify it?

Abraham: Not at all, and here’s why. We are a bit flippant, but we have a very important point. So, you live your life and you launch your rockets relative to how you want to feel in your body. And the beliefs that you hold indicate your alignment or resistance, so let’s say you want to be a thriver and you believe that this particular diet will cause you to thrive. That belief puts you in a place of no vibrational discord, and what you’re eating will serve you exactly right.

Then you go to some seminar and somebody says, “Oh, I see trouble in your diet,” and as they activate within you an awareness in you that you’re not eating as good as you thought you were, the vibrational discord between what you want and where you are widens.

And now the food that you were eating that was serving you doesn’t serve you. Not because of what you’re eating, but because of your vibrational countenance. We’re surprised that any of you can find anything to eat. (Laughter). Because somebody out there has made a big expose of what’s wrong with everything that you might put in your mouth. So, we see you sitting in front of your menus, or standing in the grocery store, with a sort of horrified vibration going on. (laughter). Your food frightens you! You apologize as you order, you feel guilty as you eat.

You gotta get to a place where you know that Well-Being is there, that you’re doing your best to choose, so what you want to do as you look at that Twinkie that somebody has condemned from just about every direction-and you want to say “This Twinkie has in it these favorable components. It has the component of pleasure as it passes across my palate. Yum yum. (laughter) It has the component of energy. It has the component of oil and lubrication. It has the component of some vitamins that they have stuffed into the whipped cream filling. (laughter)

In other words, if you can bring yourself into emotional alignment with what you eat, it will serve you every time. Which means, we don’t want you to eat somebody else’s diet. And it doesn’t mean that you can’t continually adjust your diet. But we would make peace with every bit of every morsel that we put into our mouth before we put it in our mouth.

And here it is: if you make peace, really make peace, with everything that you eat, no matter what it is, you’ll thrive. Your body will be the size and shape and stamina and endurance that you want if you make peace with the food vibrationally before you ingest it. But when you ingest food that you have not made peace with, you’re taking an action journey that does not match your vibrational journey, and what’s happening to your body is about your emotional vibrational journey, not about the food you’re eating.

And you gotta know that’s true, because you see people having a variety of different responses and experiences who are eating similar foods. It’s not the food, it’s how you feel about the food.
